Confirm Smart IPTV is the right player for this TV
Choose Smart IPTV if the television is an older Samsung or LG that struggles with heavier apps, or if you want a plain channel list with little to configure. If you would rather have catch-up, on-demand films and a richer guide, IPTV Smarters is the better fit on the same set. Both work with the same account, so you can try Smart IPTV during its trial and switch later without asking us for anything new.
Install the app and note the MAC
Search the Samsung or LG store for Smart IPTV. Listings vary by country and model, and the developer’s site describes other options for some sets where the store no longer carries it. Open the app on the television: its first screen shows a MAC address made of six pairs of characters separated by colons. Photograph the screen so you have it exactly, because you will be typing it on a different device a minute later.
Open the upload page on another device
On a phone or computer, go to siptv.app/mylist. The page offers a way to upload a playlist file and a way to add a link. Use the link option, since your Euroskara playlist is a web address rather than a file.
Enter the MAC and your link
Type the MAC exactly, colons included, and paste the M3U link into the URL field. Tick Keep online, so the television fetches the current list from our server every time rather than a stored snapshot. Leave the other options at their defaults unless support advises otherwise, press Send and wait for the confirmation message.
Restart the app on the television
Smart IPTV reads the list only when it starts. Exit the app fully, not just back to the home screen, and open it again. Channels appear in groups by country and category. The first start with a long list takes longer than later ones, so give an older television a minute before deciding something has gone wrong.
Check the television clock
The guide follows the TV’s own clock, so confirm the time zone. On Samsung, look under Settings, General, System Manager, Time; on LG, Settings, General, System, Time and Date. A set configured in one country and used in another often carries the wrong zone, which pushes every listing an hour out.
Change soundtracks during playback
While a channel plays, open the app’s playback options with the remote and look for the audio track choice, which lists the soundtracks the feed carries. If a channel has only one track, there is nothing else to choose, and that is down to the broadcaster rather than the app.
Activate before the trial runs out
After seven days the app asks for activation. Go to siptv.app/activation, enter the same MAC and follow the payment steps. The fee goes to the developer and covers that one television; it is not a Euroskara charge and does not move with you to another set.
When it does not go to plan
The upload page rejects the MAC as invalid
A character was mistyped, often the letter O in place of a zero. Compare against your photo one pair at a time: MAC addresses use only the digits 0 to 9 and the letters a to f.
The television still shows no channels after sending
Either the app was not fully restarted or the link went to a different MAC. Close it completely and reopen it; if nothing changes, resend at siptv.app/mylist and check the confirmation message.
Only part of the list appears on an older set
Very long playlists take time to parse on older hardware. Wait, then restart. If the television still stops partway, ask support whether a playlist limited to the country groups you watch is available for your account.
There is no programme guide at all
Smart IPTV needs guide data it can match to the channels. Ask support for the guide address and how best to add it for this app, then restart the app once it is in place.
The app asks for payment although your plan is active
That message is about the app’s own trial, not your Euroskara subscription. Activate at siptv.app/activation with the television’s MAC, then restart the app.
Picture has black bars or looks stretched
Check the picture size on the television itself: Screen Fit on Samsung or Just Scan on LG stops the set from cropping or zooming the image the app sends.
New channels in the line-up never show up
With Keep online ticked, the television fetches the current list each time the app starts. If it was not ticked, the app keeps an old copy. Resend the link at siptv.app/mylist with Keep online selected, then restart.

Are Smart IPTV and SS IPTV the same app?
No. They come from different developers. Smart IPTV uses the MAC and website upload described here, while SS IPTV has its own way of adding playlists on the TV. Either can play your M3U link.
Can Smart IPTV take an Xtream login?
It works from an M3U link. If you would rather enter an Xtream login directly on the television, use IPTV Smarters.
Can I move my activation to a new television?
The activation is tied to the MAC of that set, so a new television needs its own. Your Euroskara account moves freely; only the app licence stays behind.
Is it safe to enter my M3U link on siptv.app?
The link contains your username and password, so treat it like a password. The developer’s site is the standard route for this app. Never post the link on forums, and ask support to reset your details if it leaks.
Does Smart IPTV exist on Android or Fire TV?
There are Android versions, but on those devices TiViMate or IPTV Smarters are more capable and take an Xtream login directly.
Why does the app need a website at all?
Typing a long playlist address with a television remote is slow and easy to get wrong. Sending it from a phone or computer avoids that and lets the television stay a simple player without account screens.
Can one television hold two playlists?
Through the link method, the app keeps one playlist against each MAC. If you need to switch between two accounts regularly, a player such as IPTV Smarters handles several profiles more comfortably.
Will the guide show UK time or Central European Time?
Whatever zone the television is set to. Change the TV’s time zone and the listings follow; there is no need for a different playlist in a different country.
Is Smart IPTV still worth using on a new television?
