Plan on about 10 Mbps per HD stream and 25 Mbps for 4K. Most fibre, cable and VDSL lines in the UK and the EU clear that comfortably; what trips people up is Wi-Fi through thick walls. A cable from the router to the TV or box fixes more buffering than any upgrade.
