Most likely causes
- The player was sideloaded as an APK that is out of date, or built for phones rather than for the Android TV interface, so it crashes or will not accept a remote.
- The playlist, Xtream or M3U URL was entered with a small mistake, has expired, or is missing the username and password, so the app opens but has nothing to play.
- The box or TV is short on free storage or memory, which on Android tends to show up as slow launches, freezes and apps closing on their own.
- The network dropped or is weak, most often on 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi some distance from the router, so streams stall or fail to open.
- A single channel is offered only in 4K or HEVC that a lower-cost Android box cannot decode, while the HD version of the same channel plays.
Fixes, in the order to try them
Decide first whether it is one app or everything. If the home screen and other apps work but only the IPTV player fails, treat it as an app problem and continue. If the whole box is sluggish or the network icon is missing, fix the box and the connection first.
Prefer a player from the Google Play Store where you can. A Play Store build made for Android TV is updated automatically and is designed for a remote, which avoids many of the crashes people see with an old sideloaded APK. If your player is only available as an APK, download the current version from the developer rather than reusing an old file.
If you did sideload, re-check the APK. Delete the old copy, install the latest build meant for Android TV, and grant it the storage and network permissions it asks for. A phone-only build often ignores the remote or shows controls off the edge of the screen.
Re-enter the playlist details carefully. In the player settings compare the Xtream or M3U URL, and the username and password if used, character for character against what Euroskara sent you. A single wrong letter, a stray space, or http where it should be https will stop every stream while the app still opens.
Free up storage and memory. In Settings open Apps or Storage, clear the cache of the player, and remove apps or files you do not use. Android boxes with little free space launch slowly and close apps under load, which reads as the player not working.
Steady the network. Power the box off for thirty seconds, restart the router, and where you can move onto the 5 GHz band or a wired connection. If the box has an Ethernet port, a cable is the most reliable path for live streams.
Try the HD feed. Open the SD or HD version of a channel rather than the 4K or UHD entry. If HD plays and 4K does not, a lower-powered box is hitting a decode limit on that stream, which is normal rather than a fault.
If one player keeps failing after all of this, reinstall it, or switch to the player covered in our Android TV setup guide, which we test on the platform. If nothing plays in any player once the URL is correct, message the desk to confirm your line.

IPTV not working on Android TV FAQ
Should I install my IPTV player from the Play Store or sideload it?
Where the player is on the Google Play Store for Android TV, that build is the easier choice: it updates itself and is designed for a remote. Sideloading an APK is fine when a player is not on the store, but use the current version from the developer and expect to update it by hand.
The app opens but there are no channels. What is wrong?
That points at the playlist rather than the app. Re-check the Xtream or M3U URL and any username and password against the details Euroskara sent you. An expired link or a small typo leaves the player running with an empty list.
Why does my cheap Android box keep freezing on IPTV?
Low storage and memory are the usual reason. Clear the player cache, remove apps you do not use, and give the box a restart. A wired connection also helps, since weak Wi-Fi makes freezing worse on boxes that are already tight on resources.
How do I know if it is the app or my subscription?
Load the same login in a second player or on another device. If it works there, the first app or the box is the issue. If nothing plays anywhere once the URL and password are correct, contact the desk to confirm your line is active.
